When Paul preached Lydia didn’t just hear the words of God she head Jesus knocking at her heart. She opened her heart and received him in. Subsequently, she was baptized and felt a generous spirit to help. She knew Paul needed a place to stay and opened her home to him.Â
How many strangers have crossed your path asking for help and you refuse? Was it a homeless person? Someone looking for a meal. Instead, we return to a warm home and warm bed not giving a second thought about where that person is going to lay their head at night.
Hebrews 13:2 “Be not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.”
