Abigail pleaded with David for mercy. “Please forgive your servant’s offense.” (I Samuel 25:28) I’ve repeated this affirmation plenty of times. Sometimes over big things and others over small, but regardless of the size of the offense I needed God to earnestly hear the repentance in my voice and heart for forgiveness.
